In Memory of Jack, 1992 - 2008

Jack was my best friend  for 16 years, and I am grateful to have loved such a powerful teacher and healer. I believe that companion animals serve us mortals as carriers of Angelic Energies.

Though it may seem that we are caretaking the animal, in truth it is the creature who serves us by keeping our hearts warm and reminding us that we matter. This is particularly true when we must go through storms and travails that are difficult to share in words. Perhaps this is why children are so drawn to animals, for pets are quite capable of  healing us with no words spoken at all.

We all miss you Jack, but I know that your purrs are making the angels smile now, and I am happy that you are at peace.
