Sheba lived outside in the wild before she came to us. Miraculously, she had already healed herself from a broken hip somehow. Then she got bitten by something, and her paw swelled up with infection. At that point, I took her indoors and she was treated with antibiotics. She has never expressed any interest in going outside again. Here she is, demonstrating the proper way to release pent-up stress through an old, cat technique known as "rug rolling."
